A Commitment Beyond Excellence Direct Milk is at the forefront of sustainable practices. We produce over half of our annual electricity through our solar panels and employ low emission vehicles, including hybrid vehicles with solar-powered fridges. As proud members of the Sustainable Restaurant Association, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on the environment. In 2020/21, we embarked on an exciting project. Our carbon footprint will be offset through our own native tree planting, and any remaining carbon footprint will be balanced to make us fully carbon neutral.

A Heritage of Local Sourcing and Family Values

We take pride in our commitment to sourcing British and local produce whenever possible. Over 80% of our products are British, and many of our suppliers are cherished local, family-run businesses. Our main yoghurt supplier for the last 20 years, Tims Dairy, is a family-run business based only 15 miles from our depot. All our free-range milk comes from the family-run Cotteswold Dairy.

With food safety at the forefront of our business, we hold the industry-leading BRC global standard for storage and distribution and have maintained the BRC accreditation for over 15 years

Their initial focus was on delivering fresh milk to esteemed hotels and restaurants across the city. As time marched forward, so did Direct Milk, expanding not only its roster of esteemed clientele but also its diverse array of products. From those early days, the offerings evolved into a comprehensive selection of dairy essentials and morning delights, tailored to meet the exacting demands of our cherished customers.
